Ignore Address Change Registry entry
Specifies whether or not a second verification of postal data will occur when a number change is made to an address that was entered after a lookup of the Postal Code database.
Note: Only used in Canadian Registries.
When using postal code verification (see Postal Query Enabled Registry entry) and an address is entered after a lookup of the postal code database, only the street portion of the address is recorded in the Street Address field. This allows the operator to key in the house number to complete the address. Keying the street number then verifies the address again to ensure the house number matches the postcode.
The Ignore Address Change Registry entry makes it possible to turn the second verification on or off.
